Monday! Before I get to the workout – am I the last person on the planet to use Soundcloud? I discovered not only Soundcloud but how to download music and playlists from Soundcloud – boom. New music.

Going for a total body workout tomorrow with abs thrown in during the workout rather than at the end. Here’s the plan:

Dumbbell squat thrust (imagine dumbbells in dude’s hands)

Circuit 1: heavy dumbbells: 50/10 x1 [I’m going to try to use 20lb for most of these — triceps might be a trick; we’ll see]

  • DB Squat Thrusts
  • Triceps Kick Backs
  • Walking Lunges w/ DBs
  • Static lunge with Hammer Curls (25 sec on each leg)
  • DB Swings

Circuit 2: ABS: 50/10 x1

  • Scissors
  • Flutter Kicks
  • Roll up straight legs
  • Bicycles
  • Plank

Circuit 3: body weight: 50/10 x1

  • Squat Jacks
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Split Lunges-prisoner style
  • Plyo Step Ups
  • Globe Jumps

Repeat from the top = @30 or 35 min

I’m just guessing on how much time this will take. If I have leftover time at the end, we’ll go through it again Tabata style (20/10).

Finisher/4 minutes:

  • run across room — pick an exercise to do at each end — >burpees (any variation) – jump lunges – push ups (any variation) – planks (any variation) – snowboarders (like skiers but jump 180 with feet together)
  • do as many reps as you want – this circuit will continue 5 min
