Tuesday not legs day

Ok, maybe some legs . . . but oh, my legs. Actually, not that bad but definitely worked yesterday! So today – it seems I originally planned to do legs again today. WT . . . so I’m thinking a little bit of boxing and some other drills today! I don’t do boxing much because i’m hopelessly uncoordinated so we’ll see how this goes . . .

After warm up, first drill:

  • 80 straight punches, 20 upper cut, run room, 4 squats and run back
  • 60 straight punches, 20 upper cut, run room, 3 squats and run back
  • 40 straight punches, 20 jab/cross R, run room, 2 squats and run back
  • 20 straight punches, 20 jab/cross L, run room, 1 squat and run back

Then onto Kettlebells. Well, heavy dumbbells since we don’t have any kettlebells.

Circuit 1: 5 min – repeat until time is up

  • 15 DB swings
  • 7 burpees

Circuit 2: 

  1. 100 straight punches
  2. 10 -15 push ups
  3. alternating 100 high/low (50R, 50L) punches
  4. 15 Toyota jump squats

Circuit 3: 10 min – repeat until time is up

Circuit 4: 

  1. 150 uppercuts
  2. 10-15 Burpees ( jacks, mt climbers to modify)

Finisher: push ups on TOES or everyone does 12 burpees/burpee ladder

3 pushups  – 1 burpee

6 pushups  –  2 burpees

9 pushups – 3 burpees

12 pushups – 4 burpees

Abs then stretching. Done.

    Oh, what are Toyota jump squats? Does it involve a Toyota?

      Ha ha! it kind of does involve a Toyota — remember the commercials? where people jump up and their hands go in the air? that’s the idea — it’s kind of a jump squat/star jack combo.
