School’s back and some workouts

make that a glass of wine . . .

Took off today (not because i wanted to but because my body is trying to kill me. i’ll spare you the details) so i’m tentatively planning my long run tomorrow afternoon. *crossing fingers*

School starts Tuesday (I teach college classes part time). so that’s been the fun of the weekend – writing a syllabus for a class that used to be me cramming it all into 8 weeks and now it’s 5 weeks. ah, education.

Instructor at the gym is out of town this week so here’s what the schedule is going to look like:

Sun: long (slow) run


  • 8am Hi/Low Sculpt
  • 9:30 am 20-20-20 Gold (senior class)
  • 4:30pm Bootcamp


  • 4:30 pm Bootcamp
  • 6:00 pm College class


  • 8am Sculpt
  • 9:30 am 20-20-20 (this class is very spottily attended – I’m going to pass the word that i’m doing a beginner bootcamp style class and see who shows up)
  • 10:45 am Pilates


  • was going to do a long trail run but we shall see how this week goes + it is supposed to be like 30 degrees all week
  • Bootcamp


  • Perhaps Pilates  and a short run or elliptical session?


  • Run or cycle class? I need to do some long runs . . . or take a day off . . .

So there’s that.

I’ll be back with info about the long slow run with the heart rate monitor and upcoming meal plans. i’ve been terrible today, btw.
